Factores ambientales asociados con el crecimiento y desarrollo animal: Alimentaci\u00f3n, Clim\u00e1ticos (temperatura, humedad, radiaci\u00f3n, etc.). Tama\u00f1o estructural y peso adulto. Ganancia de peso seg\u00fan frame. Componentes del peso. Peso y composici\u00f3n corporal. Patr\u00f3n de acumulaci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas y grasas. Factores que influyen sobre la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica del animal. Crecimiento tisular: S\u00edntesis y degradaci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas. S\u00edntesis y degradaci\u00f3n de grasas. Crecimiento muscular. Hormonas que regulan el metabolismo de tejidos. Metabolismo de energ\u00eda. Productividad, eficiencia y terminaci\u00f3n. Crecimiento de res: muscular, graso, y tracto digestivo. Desarrollo reproductivo en machos y hembras.
